CZ claims that the “hit piece” by the journal is full of inaccuracies and negative assumptions. He favored Cunningham’s Law by accusing the publication of throwing back the responsibility for journalism.

According to Cunningham Law, the speedy path to provoke a reaction and stir corrections is to post wrong information. He highlights that such type of tactics are not suitable to conduct true journalism, especially at the time of reporting in the ever-evolving crypto industry.
CZ BNB Rejects Claims of Acting as Fixer
An article claims CZ is acting as a “fixer” in World Liberty Financial (WLF), which is the main point of controversy. WLF is to be claimed especially during its recent foreign activities, such as in Pakistan. WSJ claims that CZ was there to help with meeting arrangements, especially with Mr. Saqib, who is a local government officer.
CZ gives a sharp response to this, categorically denying these allegations. He highlights that he had never acted as a fixer, and that he didn’t connect Mr. Saqib to WLF. He states, “I am not a fixer for anyone. I did NOT ‘connect Mr. Saqib with the WLF team’. They had known each other way back, whereas I only met with Mr. Saqib for the first time in Pakistan. I did NOT make any ‘introductions for World Liberty’s foreign travels.’”
The Crypto Clash, Media Narratives Ignite Backlash
The frustration of CZ grew as he discovered that, from the beginning, WSJ acts with negative framing and that its questions are based on incorrect assumptions. The outlet of “numerous inaccuracies and unfounded inferences” is warned by CZ’s PR team. But in the final publication, these acquisitions are swept under the carpet.
CZ clearly states that “If you get a couple of factual errors wrong, it’s possible to fix. When you make up a story with negative intentions to begin with, there is no way to fix the ‘inaccuracies.’ It’s the entire story.”
The Binance founder, CZ, wrapped up his statement by claiming that the giants of the U.S. are trying to suppress the progress of crypto, silencing industry leaders. He states, “They want to attack crypto, global crypto leaders, and the pro-crypto administration.”
The Web3 decentralized ethos is accused of false narratives by mainstream media. So, the slamming back of CZ suggests a growing divide between traditional power and the future of digital finance.
